Past, Present & Future......

July of 2008 Champ became part of our family....
We have loved every moment of having him too!!!
He has been such a blessing to our family!
We Love him so much!

Champ was passed down from family to family
before he became a permanent member of
our household. We never really knew his
Past.
We knew that he was a purebred and
that whoever raised this dog...definitely
did something right! But other than that
the dog we know as Champ had no History....

Until This Week

After returning from our camping trip on Wed.
we all needed some serious soap behind the
Ears...Including Champ. I had a coupon for
Grooming services at PetCo.
So i made
an appointment, dropped him off and
ran some errands. When we picked him
up the Lady was acting kind of strange...
Almost like she didnt want to see Champ
Leave. I just figured it was because he
is such a great dog or something.
Thought nothing of it until this
morning when i got a call from the lady.
What a wonderful present it was to hear that
she knew him as a puppy and was responsible
for training him and raising him for the most part.
Her Pit Bull 'Deisel' was there at the Groomers
and she said that they went crazy when they saw
eachother.

So anyways, she told me that she would send me
some photos of 'Bentley'...AKA Champ.
Here they are....I was so excited to see that my
dog did in fact have a past.

The present and Future with our wonderful
Dog Champ is ours....But we have Vanessa
the groomer and her husband to thank.....

Here are a few of the photos that she sent me.
All i keep thinking is
"Its a small world after all"
:0)

Our Bitter sweet 4th of July

It's only been a week since Mom's passing.
Our 4th of July was a painful one.
We had some fun....But never feeling
like there was somebody missing.
We miss Mom so much.

Dad.... we love you and just want you
to know that we are here for you.
We pray for you daily, for god to
Be with you and comfort you in this

time of sorrow. He does have a plan
for all of us. We know that Mom is happy
and safe now....waiting for our arrival...
with open arms as always!!
We love you Dad!!

Levi and his baby blues.....

I just had to post this....

Logan's face is so sad right here...
even though i smile each time
I see this cute photo of him...
it reminds me of the sad timing
of moms Death.

To Jami, Mandi and AJ.....
We Love You....
We know the sadness you are
feeling, the thoughts you are
having, the pain in your hearts....
you are not alone...
if you ever need us...
you know where we are!!
WE love you!!

Mom's Funeral

This was a poem that was posted on the daily herald web sight under Mom's Obituary. Tanner and I and hopefully the rest of our family are finding great comfort in its words.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say... but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you." It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly; you're part of my plan. There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man. God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too... that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain." And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
