Two Heads are better than one in this case.....

Can you imagine having to endure something
like this??
My heart goes out to her parents!!!

Infant Girl Dies After 2nd Head Removed
Yahoo! News: "SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - An infant girl born with a second head bled to death Saturday after complex surgery to remove her partially formed twin, her parents and doctors said.

"A medical team completed the 11-hour operation Friday night and said 8-week-old Rebeca Martinez died seven hours later. Doctors had warned after the surgery that the girl would be at great risk of infection or hemorrhaging."

'We knew this was a very risky surgery, and now we accept what God has decided,' Rebeca's father, 29-year-old Franklin Martinez, said at a news conference with his wife. 'Rebeca is no longer with us physically, but no one will forget her.'"

OH!! ouch!!!

A Pit Bull from Southern California decided he would take on a Porcupine in his back yard...he ultimately learned the hard way that you can't always win no matter how tough you might be.
After the encounter, a vet sedated the dog and then removed 1,347 quills (!!!). The dog survived and hopefully learned a valuable lesson.

(P.S. this is totally off the subject...
but can anybody see my page fairy?)

It was so neat to see him
even if it was such a bad
time for his family!

My Grandma Morris

Aubree putting on a brave
face for everybody!
She is such a sweetheart!

To All Parents

To all Parents

by:
Edgar A. Guest

"I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said.

"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.

It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,

But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,

You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."

"I cannot promise he will stay; since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true

And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you.

Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,

Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?"

"I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done!

For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run.

We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,

And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;

But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,

We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!"

..............................................................................................

My mother was given this Poem when my Brother died
40 something years ago. She said it helped her overcome
her Grief and see the big picture.
Its a beautiful Poem.
I cried when i read it!!!

Sad Times.....

We received some bad news today.
My cousin Passed away.
Sheridas brother,
Mathew Morris,
Leaves behind a wife
and kids.
I cant stop crying,
keep thinking of those poor
children left without their
daddy. Im sad because
My uncle, being as sick as
he is, has to bury his son
only in his 30's.
Sherida is so upset, and i have
no way of helping her.
I just pray that God will
be with her and her
family through this rough time!!
Dear Uncle Neil & Aunt Sherian,
We are so sorry for your loss!
You and your family are in our prayers!
We love you so much!
Love,
Becca, Tanner & Kids

Over the holiday weekend....

It was kind of a cold rainy weekend
and the kids got tired of being
inside. so we had to think of
a few things to keep them happy....
here are a few pics we took!

We made tents with blankets and chairs....

We made macaroni people.....

They really enjoyed this project!!

Levi decided to get in his swimming gear behind
my back while he was supposed
to be in the bath!!

Mmmm Licorice and Sour cream
Yummy!!!!

We had Sherida and her family over on Monday
for dinner! We always enjoy our time with them!

Hope all of you had a Safe & Great Labor Day weekend!
We love all of you!
